March came in like a sleepy, grumpy old lion...

February closed with beautiful, Spring-like temperatures ... but wait-a-minute-weather lurks. Strong winds, heavy rains, full moon with accompanying rising tides and coastal flooding brought March's reputation to the forefront on this, it's second morning.

We had replaced the old, worn roof of the barn just three years ago ... the driveway was leveled and paved two years ago, and I had the bough-dropping eighty-foot Eastern white pines removed a year ago. So, short of a heavy wet snow, the shop is okay with whatever our fickle New England / Mother Nature's mood brings our way ...

Come real Springtime, the temperatures will allow comfort in the fabric shop... Looking forward to seeing and sharing new tools and fabrics with you!
