If you haven't been in to Quilters' Quarters in the past few weeks, you haven't seen how our inventory is growing! We have new panel fabrics, with borders ... new retro fabrics called "Shabby Strawberry" from Riley Blake, new batiks from Mirah (the former Princess line), and beautiful precuts from our favorite fussy-cutter, Ann Lainhart. We've had quite a few new-to-our-shop customers this week, and all have expressed an interest in coming back to see more ~ one of them bought an entire bolt of beautiful roses on a green background!

A few have also been in to talk with me about lessons, and I'm happy to schedule those before or after shop hours. My three young quilters are still visiting and making new things ... one finished a sweet skirt this week, another is working on a new quilt, and one continues to experiment with layers of fabric in intricate designs for small pieces. I love watching them take satisfaction in their progress each week!
Our "Feel Good Shopping" promotion helped another organization in town this month - the Erie 4 firehouse at the north end of town benefitted by receiving ten percent of the purchase amounts of nine customers who visited us the first week of the month. Our Red White and Blue Patriotic Fabric Contest is up and running now ... if you buy fabric from us and use it in something for yourself, a friend, or your home and bring it in for a photo (or, if you're at a distance, send us a photo) you'll be entered into our winner drawing to be held in early July. Make an outfit, or a tote, a table runner, a quilt, hot mats for the barbecue ... whatever you like. Winner chooses 2.5 yards of free fabric!
