Quilters' Quarters is once again selling fabric and notions at retail prices. In addition, quilters making projects for charity may make an appointment to visit the shop and select fabric. at reduced prices. Payments for reduced charity fabric will be donated to the Rick Palardy Scholarships. These will benefit students in vocational/trade schools.
Terry also hosts a quilters group at the Georgetown Senior Center on Tuesday afternoons
I made the borders the same way I started this quilt, using leftover 2 1/2" strips on the batting in Stitch 'n Flip style. This gave me a 10 1/2" border, but left the corners open ... so I made 10 1/2" pinwheels to complete the top.
